Marije Kroon is dermatoloog bij Medisch en Esthetisch Centrum Jan van Goyen. Zij heeft haar opleiding geneeskunde en specialisatie tot dermatoloog in het UMC Amsterdam gevolgd. De opleiding heeft zij deels uitgevoerd in het Flevoziekenhuis in Almere. Koon is gepromoveerd op vitiligo en de behandeling van verschillende pigmentstoornissen met lasertherapie bij Stichting Nederlands Instituut voor Pigmentstoornissen. Naast haar werk in het Jan van Goyen werkt Kroon 1 dag per week in ZBC Multicare in Hilversum.

‘Het belangrijkste vind ik dat mensen zich gehoord voelen en klachten serieus genomen worden. Ik ga met een tevreden gevoel naar huis als patiënten tevreden zijn en als er naast de medische behandeling en/of uitleg, ook nog tijd is geweest voor een gesprek over iemands werk, gezin of hobby’s.’
