“I think it is important to listen carefully, to make a diagnosis and to make a treatment plan together with the patient that is tailored to his or her personal circumstances and choices. I am interested in the person behind the patient. A good explanation of the examination, clinical picture and treatment options are therefore an important part of the consultation. I also find it important in my profession to work pleasantly and effectively with colleagues and to be able to act as a team. Good communication is essential in this.”
Annegreet Vlug goes home with a satisfied feeling when her patients feel heard and supported and they have been able to improve their health together.
She has several scientific publications be in her name.
