'Internal medicine is a broad profession in which I see many different syndromes and can often build up long-term contact with patients. I strive to arrive at an optimal diagnostic and treatment process together with the patient. I want to do my job well in terms of medical content, but it is also very important that a path is chosen that the patient can agree with.'
