The coronavirus and your appointment at Jan van Goyen Medical Center

The health of our patients and employees is paramount at Jan van Goyen Medical Center. That is why we follow the advice of RIVM on COVID-19 and adjust our working method accordingly. This means that we will only carry out necessary consultations and treatments until Tuesday 28 April. Our outpatient appointments are made via telephone or video consultation where possible.

Planned appointments and treatments until April 28th

Do you have an appointment in the period up to and including 28 April? Unfortunately, we are forced to cancel all appointments or if possible change to a telephone or video consultation. You will be contacted about this. We request that you do not come to our clinic, unless this has been agreed by telephone with your attending physician.

Necessary care that can't wait

In some cases, your consultation or treatment may not be able to wait. You can contact us for this necessary care. Your medical specialist will determine whether it is necessary to come to our medical center.

Measures on location

Do you still have an appointment on location? To prevent spread as much as possible, we have taken the following measures:

  • Come to the appointment alone. Supervisors can wait outside the clinic.
  • We try to plan appointments in such a way that the 1,5 m distance can be guaranteed. We ask you to pay attention to this yourself.
  • Wash your hands before and after your visit.
  • Do you have respiratory complaints, sore throat or fever? Then contact your treating doctor.

To ask?

Do you have any questions or have you not yet been contacted to cancel/convert the existing appointment? Please contact our employees on: 020-305 58 00.
