On Friday 22 November, Hemma Honders, director of the Medical and Aesthetic Center Jan van Goyen, received the most important quality mark for hospitals: the internationally recognized accreditation certificate from the Netherlands Institute for Accreditation in Healthcare (NIAZ).
With the quality mark, Jan van Goyen shows that it provides high-quality, safe and responsible care. “Our commitment to continuously provide the best personal care has been rewarded. We are very proud that our work has been positively assessed in terms of quality and safety. By obtaining the accreditation, our employees receive the credit they deserve.” Said Hemma Honders, director of the Medical and Aesthetic Center Jan van Goyen.
Ownership, involvement and enthusiasm
At the beginning of October, the auditors of the NIAZ thoroughly examined the actions and knowledge of our care providers. They were particularly positive about the ownership, involvement and enthusiasm among all our colleagues. Compliments that the employees of Jan van Goyen are extremely proud of. Of course there are also points for improvement that need to be implemented, because where work is being done there will always be room for improvement.
The NIAZ checks whether healthcare institutions have their affairs in order. This is done on the basis of the international accreditation program Qmentum. The accreditation is granted for four years, after which a reassessment is carried out.
