The reason to undergo a labia correction can be aesthetical as well as medical. A medical reason can be, for example, that you suffer from irritation during sports activities, walking, or cycling.
The surgery can be performed under local anaesthesia or under general anaesthesia. With a local anaesthesia, we administer a number of injections into the labia using a very thin needle, making sure that your labia will feel numb. With a general anaesthesia, you will be asleep during the surgery. The procedure takes about thirty minutes. During the procedure, the excess tissue of your labia will be removed and the small blood vessels will be seared. We use dissolvable stitches to close the wound area.
