On Tuesday evening, November 2, the ENT doctors of the Jan van Goyen Medical Center will hold an ENT training evening at the St. Ignatius College in Amsterdam. During this ENT theme evening, the topics of nasal passage complaints, otitides in children and the indication for eardrum tubes and tinnitus are discussed. Accreditation is awarded for 2 points.
Program
- 17.30 – 18.00 | Reception with sandwich meal
- 6.00 pm – 6.40 pm | Nasal passage complaints – Dr. L. Vermeeren. An overview of the anatomy and physiology, diagnosis, treatment and reasons for referral to secondary care.
- 18.40 – 19.20 | Otitides in children and the indication for tympanic membranes – Dr. R. Hoffmans. An overview of the anatomy, diagnosis, treatment, indication for tympanic membrane tubes and when to refer to secondary care.
- 19.20 – 20.00 | Tinnitus – Dr HS van Monsjou. Recognizing tinnitus, causes, treatment, guidelines and when to refer to secondary care.
