We have already informed you that Jan van Goyen is scaling down all elective care at location 100%. As a healthcare institution, we try to continue the care for our patients where we can. Since yesterday, Jan van Goyen has been offering video consultations for patients in the dermatology department. We have sent you an email about this. As of today, we also offer this to patients in the internal medicine department.
Referral patients internal medicine
You can refer your patients in the regular way via care domain. The internists then determine, based on the type of referral, whether a live consultation is necessary or whether a video consultation will take place. This only applies to the necessary care, so for care that cannot wait longer than two months.
How does a video consultation work?
If a video consultation is chosen, patients who have been referred for a video consultation will be called by us to schedule a date and time that they will receive a request for a video consultation by email. You should think of a regular consultation hour with the usual time slot for patients, but then from home. They will be called by the doctor's assistant after their video consultation if a follow-up appointment still needs to be scheduled and prescriptions will be sent to the patient's pharmacy by email.
Our doctor's assistant sends the patient a clear explanation by e-mail with how the consultation is set up.
In addition, teleconsultations (Ksyos/Zorgdomein) can still be submitted by you.
